Telecommunications Graduate Engineer – Sydney

RFI is a global technology solutions company, specialising in wireless coverage and solar power. We develop, manufacture, and distribute world-class, high performance, wireless products including antenna systems, rebroadcast and monitoring equipment, power systems and cabling and connectors.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Assisting our Engineering team and Project Managers on assigned projects and tasks.
• Attending site visits and assisting with associated tasks and project requirements.
• Gain an understanding of new/existing mobile communication technologies and cellular systems. ie IBC DAS, repeaters, Pico cells, UMTS, LTE, 5G, wireless, etc.
• Working with the team and learn new software, using IBwave, nemo Analyse, nemo outdoor, AutoCAD to design IBC sites.
• Working with the project team to provide solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Working on project sites and across different teams as required.

About you:

We seek graduates that are ambitious, driven, innovative team players and are customer focused. You will have a true passion in Telecommunication Engineering and a desire to contribute and succeed.

• You have recently completed a degree in Telecommunications or will be completing within the next 6 months
• You have an understand and interest in the delivery of telecommunications solutions and applications
• You have a strong understanding of health and safety compliance requirements, and ensure that safety requirements are adhered to, and any issues addressed as a priority
• You have hands on and practical experience or field experience
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• You are good communicator and confident at building relationships
