We are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant for an initial 6 month temporary contract with a well established company in the retail and wholesale sector. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic finance team, working on key financial reporting and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statement, monthly reporting, reconciliations, and compliance activities
• Support the month-end process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
• Perform balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
• Identify and implement efficiencies within financial reporting and accounting procedures
• Work closely with internal teams to provide financial insights and reporting support
• Assist in external audit requirements and compliance obligations

About You

• Qualified CA/CPA or progressing towards completion
• Experience in financial accounting or similar roles
• Comfortable in a dynamic, fast paced work environment
• A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills
