About the Role
An exciting, six-month, part time (22 hours per week, days and times negotiable) opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and detail orientated Business Services Officer. This role will see you as the first point of call for internal and external clients along with ensuring appropriate prioritisation of issues on behalf of management and other staff as required.
This role will involve providing trusted and confidential administrative support including preparing written documentations such as correspondence, presentations, briefing notes and reports. You will be involved in researching, sourcing and analysing information, diary and travel coordination, appointment scheduling and basic financial transactions, including creation of purchase orders and ensuring transactions are carried out in line with CFA standards.
This busy and varied role would suit an adaptable and professional administrator who is willing to learn and keen to be part of an organisation that has a meaningful purpose in the community. This is a dynamic and fast paced role with exposure to an emergency services environment.
About You
The person we are looking for is values driven with superior administration skills and experience providing administrative support within a large and complex organisation. You will work well within a team, with a proactive approach and a responsive and diplomatic style when dealing with internal and external customers.
The ideal candidate will be adaptable and able to work within a high volume and fast paced environment. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong customer focus, along with excellent attention to detail, organisational and time-management skills. Crucial to this role is your exceptional computer literacy skills particularly in Microsoft Office, with the ability to initiate and manage business improvements.
