Now approaching its second anniversary, The Bower Tree is ready for its next chapter. We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and results-driven Venue Manager to take the lead and drive its continued success.

About the Role

As the Venue Manager, you will be at the helm of a multi-faceted hospitality venue, overseeing all aspects of operations; from food and beverage to entertainment, functions, and gaming. Your leadership will be key in creating a thriving culture, enhancing the guest experience, and driving business growth.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the venue to meet strategic goals.
• Lead, motivate, and engage your team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Drive business performance through financial analysis and continuous improvement strategies.
• Ensure compliance with Liquor and Gaming Regulation requirements.
• Work closely with the CEO to identify growth opportunities and implement operational enhancements.
• Champion a positive workplace culture and well-being program for staff.
• Maintain an active presence during key operational periods, including nights and weekends.
• Provide regular performance reports to the Group (daily, weekly, and monthly).
• Collaborate with Group Marketing to develop and implement business-driving initiatives.

You’re a problem solver, a mentor, and a motivator, with a passion for creating an unforgettable hospitality experience. You’ll build strong relationships with staff, customers, and stakeholders, setting the standard for service excellence and operational success.

What You Bring

• A strategic mindset with a proven track record in leadership, team development, and business growth.
• Experience in fostering a positive, people-focused culture aligned with organizational values.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to coach, mentor, and engage diverse stakeholders.

Essential Requirements:

• Previous senior management experience in hospitality, covering food, beverage, gaming, and financial operations.
• Proficiency in technology and data analytics to enhance business performance.
• Ability to manage stock, control costs, and ensure optimal inventory levels across all departments.
• Strong financial acumen, with experience in financial reporting and business analytics.
• A collaborative approach, with the ability to communicate effectively across all departments.
• A current Driver’s License.
• Essential certifications: RMLV, Approved Manager’s Licence, Gaming Nominee, First Aid, and CLO.
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment assessment, including police and background checks.
