Guardian Tactile Systems is a well-established Australian owned manufacturing company supplying and installing flooring safety products to the construction and civil industries nationally. We are seeking an experienced warehouse storeperson to join our busy team on a permanent full-time basis.

The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, and be comfortable liaising with clients and installation crews in a professional manner face to face, and via phone and email.

Duties involve preparing orders, picking, packing, and shipping orders across Australia or arranging for warehouse pickups. Liaising with freight companies, raising purchase orders, and monitoring stock levels with some manual work using essential tools like drop saws, drills, and grinders.

The applicant must have the following:

• previous warehousing experience
• be a physically fit all-rounder with handy-man skills
• have experience using power tools
• be proactive, hands on and pay attention to detail
• have good planning, communication and organisational skills
• be flexible, use initiative, and be able to problem solve
• be honest, reliable, and enjoy taking a leading role within a small team
• have a C class (manual) driver’s licence
• have a forklift licence
• computer skills are essential
• be able to provide a current police clearance
• have a construction industry white card (desirable not essential)
• full working rights in Australia only;
