About the role

As our Cyber Security Engineering Lead, your role will be at the very frontline of the Cyber Security Operations Centre (CSOC).

You have a good grasp of technology & the components that underpin modern ICT environments, you are comfortable working with a wide range of technologies & have a passion for cyber security across emerging tech & trends.

• Design and deploy managed security platforms for new and existing customers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to the existing SOC security tool stacks including Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, Carbon Black, ZScaler, Rapid7, Microsoft Defender, Azure and AWS.
• Work with customers to reduce their vulnerability exposure and reduce the related risk
• Lead the onboarding of new services within the Cyber Security practice ensuring a smooth process
• Grow your team by coaching individuals, supporting professional development plans, guide career pathways, and facilitate development activities

Essential Experience

• 2+ years’ experience in deploying and configuring security products used by a SOC
• 1+ years' experience as a Technical Lead
• Strong technical hands-on experience across a range of security technologies including Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, Carbon Black, ZScaler, Rapid7, Microsoft Defender, Azure and AWS.
• People leadership experience strongly desirable
