Full-time - $90k to $110k annual salary (plus superannuation)

Contractor - $90.00 - $110.00 per billable hour, based on experience

We are a registered NDIS provider and offer mobile Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy services to NDIS participants in the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Hunter, and Central Coast areas. We are focused on providing evidence-based services to support each individual with the highest quality of care.

Job Description

We have available Occupational Therapist positions in full-time, part-time, or contractor roles. Exceptional clinical skills, the ability to effectively communicate and, most importantly, empathy are the traits required for this role. Are you looking to use your Occupational Therapy skills to make a positive impact in people’s lives? Then this is the position for you! There are also excellent remuneration and travel allowances.

The role will include:

• Managing a caseload of NDIS participants (predominantly adult)
• Conducting Occupational Therapy assessments, providing ongoing therapy, and preparing quality reports and other necessary documentation
• Prescribing and delivering evidence-based interventions
• Working collaboratively with clients, family members and support workers
• Traveling to participants’ residences and within the community
• Communicating with allied health teams and support coordinators
• Using clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice to meet clinical standards
• Supporting members within our multi-disciplinary team

Job requirements

• At least 1yr of Occupational Therapy experience within the disability sector
• Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
• Professional indemnity and public liability insurance
• Valid NSW driver’s licence
• Current Working With Children Check
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
