We are a community-based organisation currently providing mobile services across Sydney and Melbourne including clients on the home care package, participants under the NDIS, and private clients. Inspire Healthcare is offering an exciting opportunity for a qualified and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team on a contractor or full-time basis. We also run a training program (Graduate Friendly) that will assist you on your career growth and provide you with all the tools necessary for success in your role. We also provide career progression for people looking for a more senior role. You will be responsible for the delivery of therapeutic interventions for people with disability as well as the elderly.
More specifically, some of your key duties will include (but will not be limited to):
- Delivery of OT services based on current evidence-based practice and within the resources and hours presented within participants’ individual plan
- Collecting client information and undertaking assessments using appropriate assessment tools
- Prescribing assistive technology and home modifications
- Working with children
- Managing and acting on participants’ feedback to ensure services remain responsive to consumer needs
About You
You are a driven and energetic professional with strong verbal and written communication skills, and are able to demonstrate your skills and experience as an Occupational Therapist in a multidisciplinary team. You are a motivated, passionate professional, who thrives on supporting people with disabilities and their families in our local community.
You have the following:
- Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification (New Graduates are welcome to apply)
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Current First Aid certificate
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence
- Current NSW Working with Children Check and National Police Check
The following experience is preferred, though not essential:
- Working with children
- Experience with NDIS
- Experience with Home Modifications
