THE COMPANY
My client is a well-established name in the access equipment solutions industry. Specialising in the hire and sale of high-quality elevated work platforms (EWPs) and other essential construction equipment, they are trusted by clients in construction, material handling, and mining sectors across Sydney. Known for their commitment to safe, reliable, and well-maintained equipment, they help companies tackle their toughest challenges.
THE ROLE
As a Sales Representative, you will play a key role in expanding the company's presence in the construction and industrial sectors. You will focus primarily on hiring out access and elevated work platforms, with some sales involved. Your main responsibility will be building strong, long-term relationships with clients by offering tailored hire and purchase solutions to meet their equipment needs.
Most of your time will be spent on the road meeting with clients, conducting site visits, and presenting the best solutions for their projects. Additionally, you will spend time in the office collaborating with the internal team, handling quotes, and managing orders to ensure smooth operations.
Here’s what a typical day could look like for you:
- Cold calling, networking, and building a pipeline of new opportunities.
- Sitting down with clients old and new to understand their equipment needs and present the perfect hire or sales solutions.
- Developing strong, long-term client relationships with consistent follow-ups to maintain satisfaction and boost sales.
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and fulfillment of equipment orders.
- Preparing detailed, tailored quotes and proposals, with a focus on timely follow-ups to close the sale.
ABOUT YOU
We’re looking for someone with experience in selling or hiring construction equipment or products. Experience in renting out elevated work platforms and access equipment will be highly regarded. You should be a self-starter with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets, and most importantly, enjoy building lasting relationships with clients and providing excellent service. If you have a background in the construction.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
Base salary: $85,000 - $105,000 + Super + Commission + Car
