Design & Build are working a well established engineering and project delivery consultancy in Sydney.

This consultancy work across major infrastructure projects across Australia with a focus in working with Tier 1&2 Construction companies and government clients to bring projects in Rail, Roads, Water and Energy to life.

You will working as part of the Environment and Sustainability Services Team to provide Environmental advisory services to clients across all project phases.

We have 2 positions open within the business as part of growth:

Environmental Consultant - Site Environmental Management - This role will see you working across a diverse project pipeline with regular travel to project locations.

Environmental Consultant - Approvals - This includes EIA, Consistencies and Post Approvals

To be considered for one of these positions you must:

• Degree qualifications in Environmental Science, Engineering, Planning or similar relevant discipline
• 2-5+ years of relevant industry experience in environment, sustainability / engineering sector.
• Sound knowledge of government environmental, approvals and sustainability policies and regulations, including Planning processes
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to clearly communicate and present environmental recommendations and strategies to clients and project teams
• Appetite for environmental best practice, continuing development of skills and expanding knowledge and experience
• Understanding of state and federal environmental legislation
• Understanding of state Planning Policies and Planning Approvals
• Experience in infrastructure delivery – for example energy, transmission, rail, aviation and roads sectors, highly regarded.
