Fuse Recruitment are seeking an experienced Assemblers and Technicians for Workshop based work in Ingleburn.
There are opportunities for three levels of positions available. Junior level, mid level and senior level positions that can lead to permanent roles after 6 months time.

The Client:
A large Workshop base in Ingleburn that specialises in the assembly of mobile speed camera equipment.

The Role: Technician / Assembler
There are three levels of positions available.

• Junior - $35.85 p/hr
• Mid Level - $44.85 p/hr
• Senior Level - $53.85 p/hr

Your main duties will involve:

• Basic assembly work
• Following plans and drawings and installing base nuts, bolts and frames to trailers, Booms, Beams and shells of camera equipment
• Production Bench line assembly work
• Panel building and installing onto equipment
• Follow work instructions and technical drawings to ensure product quality.

• Junior level

• Installation of wiring and panels into trailers and mobile speed camera equipment
• Assembly and installation of Stationary camera equipment and Booms
• Electrical component Assembly
• Connecting of optical wiring
• Assemble electrical panels by following provided assembly sheets.
• Prepare product components to be assembled and quality-tested
• Inspect sub-assemblies for workmanship and compliance to documentation
• Simple low voltage electronic testing
• Connect and secure cables and wires to the appropriate components.
• Inspect completed panels for accuracy and completeness.
• Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications

• Mid Level

• As well as the duties above for the Mid level position you will also complete;
• Mechanical and electrical engineering based duties
• Full installation and connection / disconnection of wiring, optics and cameras
• Full assembly and Installation of mobile trailers from base shell to final product
• Oversee all electrical and wiring work
• Testing of equipment
• Software testing
• QA and QC of all final equipment
• Signing off of job orders
• Supervising junior assemblers and installers

• Senior Level

The Candidate:
To be successful in obtaining these roles you have the following experience:
Junior:

• Previous experience in assembly work with working in electronics, Trades Assistant or Electrical assembly roles being advantageous
• Hand and power tool operating experience

Mid Level

• Experience with Optical wiring
• Electrical component assembly experience
• Pop and rivet gun experience
• Soldiering experience

Senior Level

• Experience in a senior, team lead or supervisor position in a similar role in a manufacturing environment
• QA and QC experience
• Trade certification in engineering, electronics or a similar field
• Previous experience in the likes of the aviation, electrical engineering or Mechanical engineering fields
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship

• As well as all of the above you will have:

Advantageous:

• Forklift license
• Tertiary qualifications in electronics Assembly or a similar field
