About the role

We are seeking a casual Kitchen Hand / Retail Assistant to join our team at The Lakes Supermarket in Ballajura. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the smooth running of our supermarket.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting in the kitchen with food preparation, including chopping, slicing and putting meals together
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food preparation areas
• Restocking and organizing shelves in the retail area
• Providing friendly and efficient customer service
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a kitchen hand or in a food service role
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends
