About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Kitchen Hand/Production Hand to join the team at Vesuvio Pasta, a leading pasta manufacturer based in Malaga, WA. This is a casual role, potentially moving to a full time role for the right candidate, offering flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle, with availability requested Monday to Friday from 7am till 3pm. As a Kitchen Hand/Production Hand, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the smooth operation and cleanliness of our state-of-the-art production facility.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with food preparation tasks such as chopping, dicing, and mixing ingredients
• Operating various kitchen equipment and machinery to support the production process
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, adhering to strict food safety and hygiene standards
• Packaging and labelling finished products for distribution
• Providing support to the production team as required

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand or Production Hand in a food manufacturing or hospitality environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
• Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others
• Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods
• A keen interest in the food industry and a passion for delivering high-quality products
