The Maintenance Manager oversees maintenance and repair operations across the club’s facilities, ensuring all equipment and infrastructure function smoothly. This role also ensures strict adherence with safety protocols and regulatory standards, upholding the club’s commitment to a safe and high-quality environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a maintenance plan covering preventive and corrective programs for all facilities.
- Conduct basic plumbing, electrical, facility structure, and automotive repairs.
- Perform routine inspections to identify and address maintenance needs in a timely manner.
- Prepare inspection reports and follow up on maintenance requirements.
- Ensure facilities comply with safety, cleanliness, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain inventory to ensure tools, equipment, and supplies are stocked.
- Monitor chemical inventory levels and reorder supplies as necessary to maintain optimal stock.
- Perform basic surface preparation, structural repairs, painting or renovation projects.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance, equipment warranties, and compliance certifications.
- Maintain clubs carparks daily to be clear of rubbish and debris.
- Receive and store various deliveries.
- Monitor equipment and recommend investments for upgrades and replacements.
- Adhere to safety protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Perform risk assessments and implement safety measures to reduce hazards.

Key Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Experience in facilities, handyman work, or maintenance management is preferred but not required.
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, automotive maintenance, and structural repairs.
- Ability to work effectively in diverse teams.
- Ability to problem-solve, manage time, and handle multiple priorities.
- Safety-First Mindset: Prioritizes workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
Working Conditions:
- Part-time or casual position.
- Minimum 25+ hrs per week
- Valid driver's license.
- Physical requirements include the ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and conduct inspections.
