Bethel Aged Care is a fully accredited aged care facility in Mill Park. An excellent opportunity is now available for an enthusiastic candidate to support the existing maintenance team on a casual basis. Great for candidates who are after some additional income with work generally on offer up to 4 weekdays per week (subject to variation).

Work hours

• Weekdays 8am to 4pm or 10am to 6pm (negotiable).

Role

Work includes fixing faults reported by staff, cleaning of equipment, moving items and restocking supplies and preventative maintenance (maintaining equipment before they breakdown).

Mandatory qualities

• Well organised, driven person, who is able to work well independently and as part of a team.
• At least 3 years experience in handyman / trade related employment eg. plastering, painting, basic carpentry, plumbing (that does not require a licensed contractor).
• Has your own reliable transport to be primarily based at Mill Park but be willing to travel to our sister facility in Coburg North if required.
• Unlimited work rights in Australia.
• NDIS Worker Screen (can apply upon successful interview process).
• Computer literacy is essential as all documentation will be computer based.

Preferred qualities:

• Training or qualifications in OHS
• Trade qualifications eg. plastering, painting, carpentry, construction or plumbing
