Our Visitor Service Attendants are the 'go-to-people' for guests visiting the resort. Whether it is answering phone queries or assisting guests as they pass through the Resort Entry, they are the friendly faces that provide outstanding customer service and knowledge about the resort. In this role, no two days will be the same as you move around the resort fulfilling the needs of the Visitor Experience team.
Nestled only 2.5 hours from the heart of Melbourne, Mt Baw Baw is Melbourne’s closest downhill ski, snowboard, toboggan and snow play resort....'make tracks' this winter for a unique employment opportunity.
Key accountabilities:
- Guest Interaction: Serve as the main point of contact for guests, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience, while offering comprehensive information about the resort.
- Administrative Support: Handle documentation, information management, and financial transactions, maintaining strict security protocols.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Visitor Services Supervisor and other resort service teams to ensure smooth operations and service delivery.
What amazing skills and experience will score you this role?
- Experience in a customer service role/and or office environment.
- A whizz when it comes to using Microsoft 365.
- Experience with SharePoint will score you brownie points!
- A knack for talking to people and a solutions-focused approach when dealing with problems.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Laser sharp focus on providing a safe and fun environment for our guests.
- A LOVE of the outdoors, including the rain, hail, and shine (and obviously SNOW).
- Flexibility to work in other departments/roles
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Have full Australian working rights. International applicants are required to obtain their own visa with valid Australian work rights.
- Currently hold or be willing to obtain a Victorian Working with Children Check – Employee type
- Have an Australian drivers licence (Victorian licence preferred)
- Satisfactorily pass a police check and random drug & alcohol tests.
- Available to work weekends and school holidays.
- Available from June to 30 September 2025 (or the declared snow season)

Salary: $32.81p/h including casual loading

About Mount Baw Baw Alpine Resort
Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort is Melbourne's closest downhill skiing and boarding destination and opens 364 days a year. Snow season begins on Queens Birthday Weekend in June and ends around the start of October. In summer the resort operates as a mountain biking and hiking destination. From 1 January 2017 the Southern Alpine Resort Management Board became the committee of management within the Lake Mountain Alpine Resort and the Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort.
