Role Overview;

We're seeking an experienced Clinical Coder to join a high performing clinical coding team on a fixed-term contract (12 months) or contractor basis in Sydney, NSW. This is a critical hire, and we're looking for someone who can hit the ground running to support the coding and billing functions.

The ClinicalCoder will be responsible for applying accurate, timely, and efficient medical coding services for the ANZ clients, ensuring adherence to the Medicare Diagnostic Imaging Services category. This role involves working closely with the Finance team and the UK Coding Supervisor to meet coding and billing deadlines.

What We're Looking For

✅ Experience: 2-5 years of clinical coding experience, preferably in a public hospital setting to ensure exposure to a broad case mix.
✅ Expertise: Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology-this is crucial for coding complex cases.
✅ Technical Skills: Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Microsoft Word, and Excel at an intermediate level.
✅ Work Ethic: Flexibility with hours and a commitment to completing coding within set deadlines.

Working Arrangements

• Hybrid model: 2 days in-office per week (more during training if needed).
• Finance team is typically in on Mondays and Wednesdays.
