Asian United Food Service is a family-owned wholesaler and distributor servicing the food service, hospitality and catering and Government sectors across the Northern Territory and surrounding remote communities. We supply a wide range of businesses, including restaurants, cafes, clubs, pubs, hotels, QSR's, service stations, and various government agencies and departments. As we continue to expand, we are seeking full-time team members to join our team for various Admin roles across our different divisions.
The Role
As part of the Admin Team, you will be responsible for keying in and processing a large volume of data into Dynamics 365. You will also be required to liaise with customers or suppliers and provide administrative assistance and support to the rest of the team as required.
This position is:
Full time, averaging 38 hours a week, Monday to Friday
Has an immediate start
Salary dependent on experience and skill set
Range of Duties/Responsibilities dependent on division:
- Enter/process customer phone / email / online orders into Dynamics 365
- Provide solutions to all customer calls / emails for special requests and queries
- Contact customers to advise of unavailable items and provide alternatives
- Process any amendments to picking slips to then generate invoices
- Assist with supplier stock replenishment
- Regularly monitor, measure, and report on stock levels and stock related issues
- Investigate and process stock discrepancies
- Co-ordinate rolling stock takes with the warehouse
- Assist with creating purchase orders
- Collate and manage supplier information
- Ensure the application of accurate pricing for promotions purchasing
- Run reports on sales/purchasing data
- Create marketing materials including brochures, flyers etc
- Schedule and set up of supplier driven promotions, liaising with our IT and sales departments
- Create and maintain special customer pricing
- Create and export data to report on promotion success
- Maintain records in our loyalty programs
- Admin support at our networking events
- Assist with any other duties as per the Manager’s instructions
- Providing ad hoc administrative support as required
- Assisting with other various team/department orders
Skills/Competencies Required
- Have excellent phone manners
- Have experience in customer service, focusing on good outcomes for the customer
- Have experience in using computer systems, MS office, Outlook emails, Word and Excel
- Be proficient in the English language and have great writing, reading and speaking skills
- Be able to work in a robust environment
- Have a sense of humour
- Be reliable, punctual and have initiative
- Have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Have full working rights in Australia
- Have experience in the food industry is highly considered
