About the Role

Join our fantastic team and growing company with an opportunity for an experienced Operations Excellence Manager to lead an operations transformation program.

Based in our Melbourne Head Office, you will join a passionate and supportive team that has a wealth of experience and knowledge and that will support your professional growth.

The Operations Excellence Manager will:

• Develop and implement processes for commercial viability and service excellence.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive initiatives to enhance scalability and profitability.
• Identify opportunities to maximize margins and improve cost efficiency.
• Lead the design and implementation of efficient, scalable operational systems.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to new processes.
• Use data analytics tools (CW1, Power BI) to track and optimize performance metrics.

The role involves championing a culture of leadership, collaboration, and continuous improvement, as well as mentoring and guiding Operations Managers and team members to improve efficiency and performance. To be successful you:

• Can demonstrate a strong understanding of the Australian freight forwarding industry with experience in operations management
• Can analyse and utilise complex operational data
• Will have demonstrated experience in managing large-scale, multi-year transformation initiatives.
• Have a solid commercial and business acumen and understanding of profitability, costing and margin optimisation
• Be an excellent verbal and written communicator over phone, in-person and email
• Have excellent time and project management skills coupled with a proven record working in a team
• Have intermediate computer skills, with highly proficiency in CW1 and advanced analytics tools (i.e. PowerBI).
