What you will be doing:
- Conduct research and data analysis to develop and communicate a deep, evidence-driven understanding of underlying trends, relationships, and emerging issues within Australia's energy sector.
- Deliver high-level advice and support to senior management, the Minister's office, and external clients as required in relation to energy issues.
- Develop and maintain datasets and complex quantitative models relating to Queensland and Australian energy markets.
- Conduct data collection, data processing, detailed analysis, and data visualisation.
What experience you will bring:
- At least 3 years relevant experience in analytical roles.
- Proven experience leading the development and interpretation of quantitative models.
- Experience in complex data analysis using fit for purpose tools (e.g. Excel, Python, R, SQL).
- Presentation/data visualisation skills such as Power BI.
- Experience/knowledge of the energy sector and/or energy market modelling would be highly regarded.

With offices in Brisbane, Rockhampton and Cairns we can work directly with you and your supplier to investigate and resolve complaints.

•receive and investigate energy issues in Queensland and water issues in south east Queensland
•manage dispute resolution between customers and energy and water entities
•promote the services of EWOQ
•identify systemic energy and water issues.
