About the role:

Supporting the Credit Team Leader in the recovery and timely processing of due and outstanding debts, the key focus of our Customer Accounts Specialist is to maintain and develop effective relationships with our agency customers.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Collection of high priority outstanding debts and reconciliation of customer ledger.
  • Building a long-standing relationship with key clients over phone, email, and video call to ensure efficiency and best practices for payments.
  • Problem-solving and proactively identifying issues arising from customers not making payment.
  • Ownership over multiple CRMs and debt management softwares.
  • Gathering of information from multiple data points to problem solve customer queries and provide a exceptional level of customer service.
  • Communicating regularly and effectively with internal teams about key customers.
  • Prepare and present information from individual ledger to the Credit Team Leader.
  • Processing of bad debts accordance with company policy.

About You:

You are an enthusiastic and positive person that excels at building customer relationships. In addition, you are:

  • An exceptional communicator, both written and verbal.
  • A strong problem-solver and analytical thinker.
  • Extremely detail-oriented; ensures accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
  • Highly organised and have experience managing your time to complete all aspects of tasks.
  • Ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficient across the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.

Experience

  • University or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business fields preferred but not essential.
  • Bookkeeping or accounts payable experience highly regarded.
