A Leadership opportunity has become available to join the Shoal Bay Waste Management Facility team as a (Senior) Coordinator Resource Recovery Operations in a full time, permanent capacity. As a (Senior) Coordinator Resource Recovery Operations you will ensure best practice weighbridge operations at Shoal Bay; oversee, coordinate, plan and deliver on the operational requirements of the City of Darwin Waste and Resource Recovery team and ensure timely and professional delivery of services in accordance with Municipal and Program Area Plans and other relevant strategies.
About you:
You will have a strong customer service focus and demonstrated leadership and team building experience. We are seeking someone with a thorough understanding of contract management and technical knowledge of environmental principles pertaining to waste management.
Additionally, you will have:
- NT Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card)
- Class C Drivers Licence
Level 7:
- Certificate IV in Waste Management or other relevant discipline or equivalent experience
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a waste management, environmental, circular economy or contract management role
- Minimum two (2) years in a team leadership role.
Level 8:
- Bachelor of Environmental Science, Environmental Management or equivalent qualification or equivalent experience
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience at an operational leadership role.
