About the Job

As a Senior Inside Sales Representative, you'll play a crucial role in driving sales growth for a trusted safety equipment supplier. Based in the head office in Truganina, you'll identify opportunities, nurture leads, and create warm prospects for the Business Development team.

Our client is an Australian-owned family business with a 20+ year track record in the safety equipment industry. They offer a comprehensive range of high-quality products through their Preferred Distributor Network, catering to construction, mining, and industrial markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct strategic outbound calls to warm up leads and create opportunities for Business Development Managers (BDMs).
  • Utilise data analytics to identify trends and optimise lead nurturing strategies.
  • Maintain a results-driven approach, consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Track sales activities and generate reports using CRM systems (HubSpot and NetSuite).
  • Develop innovative campaigns to re-engage lapsed customers and maximise sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with BDMs for smooth handover of qualified leads.
  • Make a high volume of calls daily, demonstrating enthusiasm for phone-based sales.
  • Analyse sales data to identify growth opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Inside Sales Representative with:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in inside sales, preferably in the safety equipment or related industries
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly and pivot to alternative contact strategies when needed
  • Strong analytical skills to identify growth opportunities
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales tools
  • Demonstrated humility, a willingness to learn and admit mistakes, and an openness to feedback.
  • A strong sense of hunger/drive, a proactive approach to achieving goals, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional people smarts, the ability to understand and navigate social dynamics, and build effective relationships with colleagues and clients.
