Our client is an Australian-owned seafood supplier, providing high-quality value-added seafood products since 1984. The company partners with world-class manufacturing plants in Thailand and China to deliver top-tier seafood solutions. The role involves daily and monthly financial administration, including updating EFT cash receipts, managing debtor reports, and handling foreign currency payments. It also covers customer claims and debt management, such as processing various claims and setting up new accounts, alongside responding to customer inquiries. Rebate administration includes calculating and processing monthly rebates, while managing reports and claims from buying groups. Sales support tasks include generating sales reports, maintaining pricing forms, preparing budgets, adjusting sales territories, and coordinating materials for reviews and conferences. Must have intermediate to advance excel experience.
This position will transition into a permanent role after 3 months of continuous employment.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide essential admin support to the NSM and sales teams, including sales, pricing, and profit analysis.
- Manage product code submissions, promotions, tenders, and expenses processing.
- Review and analyse National Promotions for effectiveness and cost.
- Prepare periodic sales performance reports per salesman.
- Oversee debtor management, ensuring timely payments and account reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate records of rebates, promotions, and product data.
- Assist with the preparation of annual sales budgets and integrate state budgets into national forecasts.
- Ensure on-time and accurate completion of administrative tasks and reporting.
Essential Criteria
- Strong experience in debtor management and invoicing
- Experience in administration and sales support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
- Experience in handling customer queries and resolving disputes.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach.
- A team player with the ability to work independently.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Friendly and pleasant personality
