This firm will accept Partners:

• who have an established litigation practice; or
• have experience at the special counsel or partner level that cannot bring a practice with them for various reasons.

Position: Litigation Partner

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exemplary legal services on behalf of the Firm, ensuring that clients remain engaged and satisfied with the firm.
• Independently handle cases without the need for supervision, demonstrating your expertise and sound judgment.
• Guide, mentor, and manage all professional and administrative personnel in the Brisbane office, effectively delegating tasks and improving efficiency.
• Supervise the Firm's operational functions, including administrative tasks, in collaboration with the Practice Manager.
• Achieve personal goals for weekly, monthly, and annual time tracking and budget adherence as set by the Firm.
• Oversee comprehensive file management, ensuring timely completion of work, compliance with deadlines, transparent fee disclosures, and effective debtor management.
• Engage in business development opportunities and events (fresh ideas will also be welcome).
• Monitor the financial performance of professional staff.
• Facilitate monthly, quarterly, and annual evaluations of professional staff and manage this in collaboration with with key stakeholders.
• Aim to get all staff to meet or surpass established performance benchmarks.
• Demonstrate leadership qualities that align with the firms vision and values.
• Manage the Execution of the firms annual Marketing Plan.
• Regularly connect with key referrers to build and maintain relationships.
• Seek out and build relationships with new potential referrers to generate new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Practice Manager to drive enhancements in systems and procedures.
• Provide direct reports to the Firm’s Managing Partner on all issues related to file management, service delivery, and compliance matters.
