  • Location negotiable across the Murray region (preferable Albury)

Murray LLS has a fantastic opportunity available to join the Regional Delivery team. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about stakeholder engagement and facilitating partnerships with farmers, industry and community groups to deliver sustainable agriculture and livestock production outcomes.

In this role you will be:

  • Supporting management and delivery of natural resource management and agricultural productivity projects, ensuring best-practice governance
  • Collecting and collating data, analysing information and providing accurate and appropriately balanced advice, reports and recommendations on natural resource management and agricultural issues
  • Working directly with producers and industry to identify and develop key priorities for extension and adoption within the livestock sector of the region and broadly across the industry
  • Creating collaborative networks and producer groups for effective delivery of projects and programs for the mixed farming sector and livestock industry within the region.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Formal qualifications in environmental science or agriculture, or proficient relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of native vegetation and sustainable agricultural practices relating to land management.
  • The ability and willingness to travel to perform field work such as inspections and assessments.
  • Strong communication and technology skills and an open and inquisitive approach.
  • Experience in group facilitation, working effectively with differing communication styles and engaging with varying stakeholder groups.
  • A current NSW driver licence combined with the willingness and ability to travel across NSW (including overnight stays) is also required.
