About the Role:

The Roster Coordinator is responsible for the development, management, and continuous improvement of workforce rostering processes at Junction. This role ensures compliance with the Social and Community Services Award and Junction Support Services EBA, while optimising staff allocation to meet operational needs.

The Roster Coordinator will act as a subject matter expert in roster management software as part of the HRIS project, contributing to its implementation, effective use, and continuous improvement.

The Roster Coordinator plays a critical role in fostering a collaborative team environment and driving change initiatives to enhance efficiency and service delivery. Furthermore, the Roster Coordinator will provide relief to the Payroll Officer during periods of absence, assist with data entry setup for inductees in residential care and the café, and support mailbox inquiries as needed.

Selection Criteria:

  • Experience and Knowledge - Demonstrated experience in developing and managing complex rosters, preferably in a Residential Care Services. With a strong understanding of awards, enterprise agreements, and relevant legislation, with proven skills in award interpretation.
  • Technical Proficiency - Expertise in rostering technologies and workforce management systems, Proven ability to act as a subject matter expert in the implementation and optimisation of roster management software.
  • A passion for leading change and driving process improvement. Proven ability to lead and inspire teams in a collaborative manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse teams.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
