About the role
As an Aboriginal Health Practitioner Team Leader at Kambu Health, you will provide clinical leadership in delivering culturally appropriate, high-quality primary health care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients in the Ipswich and West Moreton region. You will also lead a team of Aboriginal Health Workers.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead team of Aboriginal Health Workers.
- Perform comprehensive Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Checks
- Support other health services staff to provide quality and culturally appropriate health care and services to patients
- Demonstrate commitment to the Kambu Health Values
About the successful applicant
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
- Diploma in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Care; or above
- AHPRA Registration
- Previous experience in a similar role is highly regarded
