About the role

As an Aboriginal Health Practitioner Team Leader at Kambu Health, you will provide clinical leadership in delivering culturally appropriate, high-quality primary health care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients in the Ipswich and West Moreton region. You will also lead a team of Aboriginal Health Workers.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead team of Aboriginal Health Workers.
• Perform comprehensive Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Checks
• Support other health services staff to provide quality and culturally appropriate health care and services to patients
• Demonstrate commitment to the Kambu Health Values

About the successful applicant

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
• Diploma in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Care; or above
• AHPRA Registration
• Previous experience in a similar role is highly regarded
