Where you'll be working

You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team offering a wrap around service to palliative care out-patients and their families.

What you'll be doing

You will be providing evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention services to patients of the Supportive Care Services.

  1. Full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia, with Endorsement in Clinical Psychology (or eligibility to progress to same), along with a minimum two-year full-time equivalent Master or doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology.
  2. Demonstrated experience in the provision of psychological assessment and intervention with clients experiencing significant illness and/or end of life care.
  3. Capacity to design and implement short and medium term treatment protocols for a range of psychological issues such as anxiety, depression and adjustment.
  4. Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills, organisational skills and time management skills
  5. Demonstrated experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a health or private setting
