About the role:

Seeking a qualified RSA trainer and assessor to join our team! We are looking for someone who can provide 38 hours per week (full time).

Our training and assessment is delivered exclusively online using our intuitive Learning Management System. No face-to-face training - yay!

While Clear to Work head office is based in Nundah, QLD, our trainers can login, mark assessments and connect with learners on a flexible schedule from home.

Key responsibilities:

  • Mark assessments submissions
  • Provide training, support and guidance to students when required
  • Provide kind, courteous, helpful, and compliant feedback to students
  • Participate in annual formal moderation meetings
  • Participate in ad hoc meetings with admin staff and other trainers/assessors
  • Communicate directly with the learner support team to assist students in having an enjoyable learning experience

Skills, experience, and attributes:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Relevant and up-to date certifications including Cert IV TAE 40110 (incl. LLN & 502 Unit) or TAE 40116 or higher
  • Minimum of 3 years recent industry experience working within venues that responsibly serve alcohol
  • Holds SITHFAB021 or SITHFAB002 - Provide responsible service of alcohol
  • Solid written and oral communication skills
  • A passion for the Hospitality industry and for training
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a team member
  • Experience in validating the course material and content
  • Strong work ethic and organisation skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A proactive, positive attitude and initiative

Desirable (but not essential) attributes:

  • Holds SITHGAM001 or SITHGAM022 – Provide responsible gambling services
  • Holds SITXFSA005 - Use Hygiene Practices for Food Safety and SITXFSA006 - Participate in Safe Food Handling Practices (or equivalent)
  • NSW ATP approved (NSW RSA competency Card)
