Join CQUniversity in a leadership role that drives academic integrity and excellence. As Coordinator – Academic Integrity, you will lead initiatives that safeguard the quality of CQUniversity awards, ensuring a rigorous and transparent approach to preventing and addressing academic misconduct.
In this influential role, you will coordinate and manage CQUniversity's academic integrity efforts, advising on academic integrity processes and outcomes while contributing to continuous improvement in curriculum and assessment design. Your expertise will guide the prevention, investigation, and management of academic misconduct, including complex contract cheating cases. You will provide high-level advice, develop and implement policies, and prepare reports that inform executive decision-making and regulatory compliance. Collaborating with key stakeholders, you will enhance staff and student understanding of academic integrity through education, training, and sector-leading initiatives.
With a strong focus on emerging sector trends – particularly the challenges posed by AI-generated content and academic misconduct – you will shape best practices, lead educative approaches to academic integrity matters, and strengthen CQUniversity’s academic integrity framework. As artificial intelligence continues to evolve, your expertise will be crucial in developing proactive strategies to uphold academic standards. Position Requirements
- Advanced investigative and analytical skills, with the ability to manage complex academic integrity cases.
- Proven ability to collate and analyse data to identify and address causes and trends in academic integrity breaches.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge or experience in the VET sector, or the ability to quickly develop this understanding.
- Strong knowledge of the higher education sector, including policies and procedures related to academic misconduct.
- Proven experience in case management, report writing, and policy development within an academic or regulatory setting.
- Proficiency in academic integrity systems, with the ability to support and educate staff in their use.
- A relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent professional experience in higher education, law, or a related field.
- Experience in supervising or mentoring staff, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach to work.
