Our client, a leading commercial and residential real estate company is looking for a Building Supervisor for a commercial building located in Parramatta. The successful applicant will be responsible for the day-to-day management and maintenance of a commercial complex.

Hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm

Pay is between $85,000-$95,000 per year + Super.

As a contractor you must have your own your own insurance including workers compensation insurance.

Your Duties will include but not limited to:

• Maintenance and repair of the building and other improvements erected or made to the property.
• Supervision of all contractors engaged by the Managing Agents, including gardeners, cleaners, plumbers, painters and general handymen and other tradespeople.
• Engagement of duly qualified tradespeople approved by the Managing Agents to carry out minor repairs and improvements.
• Ensuring car parking and driveway areas and all common areas remain unobstructed and useable to all tenants in accordance with their respective leases or their occupation arrangements.
• Regular periodic contact with the tenants to establish and maintain a good harmonious working relationship with them.
• Undertaking minor repairs to the property.
• Responsibility for all keys to the building and ensuring that all tenant and other persons duly authorized to have access to the property have that access during such hours and times may be permitted by the Managing Agents.
• Ensure that the security for the building is maintained and adhered to.
• To assist the Managing Agents as required from time to time.
• Report to the Managing Agents on a regular basis on the day-to-day operations of the property.
• To act as caretaker of the property.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Prior experience in building management, property maintenance, or a similar role is beneficial but not essential.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with tenants, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general handyman tasks.
• Ability to use property management software or willingness to learn.
