Job Title: Irrigation Technician
Location: North – Western Suburbs of Adelaide
Pay Rate: $40-$50 p/hr + Super (depending on experience)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Hours may vary based on host employer needs)
Job Overview:
This role is crucial in ensuring that four memorial parks, cemeteries, and open spaces are properly irrigated. These sites include botanic gardens, turf lawns, shrubberies, beds, water features, wall gardens, and various community facilities, landscaped areas, and entry statements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair irrigation systems.
• Oversee irrigation systems across 4 different sites.
• Plan the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems, including assessing future requirements.
• Provide training on irrigation installation, repair, and efficient use of controls (as needed).
• Assist and support the Horticulture Manager with irrigation/horticultural concepts and projects.

Requirements:

• Certificate in Irrigation, Horticulture, or a related discipline.
• Strong skills in irrigation installation and repairs.
• Experience with Rainbird/Maxicom or similar IMS.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Construction White Card.
• National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
