Sales Professional - Industrial Product – Ormeau / Brisbane

Workmate Abrasives is a manufacturer, converter, importer, and supplier of a range of premium performance abrasive products and we are currently seeking a technical sales representative to join our QLD sales team, based out of our Ormeau, Brisbane office.

This is a full time, permanent position and is available for an immediate start (will wait for notice periods as required).

Position Overview:-

In this role you will be required to promote our products and processes through effective sales strategies, in order to develop and maintain existing relationships with key accounts as well as seek out new business opportunities.

You will be responsible for the full sales process and this hands on role will suit an experienced industrial sales professional looking to take their career to the next level.

Your key responsibility will be selling into all types of industry including Furniture manufacture, all other types of woodworking manufacture, Stainless Steel fabricators, and all Metalworking industries etc..

Your experience, skill set and qualifications will include:-

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work within a small team environment

Good computing skills (MS Office Intermediate)

2 years or more Sales experience of Industrial Products direct to manufacturers

Results focused, career minded & determined to succeed

Enthusiastic, team oriented & organised

Experience in the sale of items with low individual values

This position is suitable for Hunters & Order Makers only.

Applicants with existing relationships with Manufacturers will be of high interest.
