About the role

Wagga Swim School is seeking enthusiastic Casual Swimming Instructors to join our team in Wagga Wagga, NSW. As a Casual Swimming Instructor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality swimming lessons and coaching to swimmers of all ages and abilities.

What you'll be doing

• Delivering engaging and effective swimming lessons to students of all ages and skill levels
• Delivering our Water Bubs group classes - ages 4months to 3yrs
• Assessing students' swimming abilities
• Ensuring the safety and well-being of students during swimming lessons
• Maintaining accurate student records and providing feedback to parents/guardians
• Adhering to all health, safety, and pool operational procedures

Hours of work available

• Mornings - Mon - Sat 9am to 12.30pm
• Evenings - Mon - Fri 3pm to 7pm

What we're looking for

• Relevant swimming qualifications or willingness to obtain (e.g. Austswim, Royal Life)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to ensure the safety and well-being of students
• Commitment to helping others develop their skills and confidence in the water
• Current CPR and first aid certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Working with Children Check
