ArchiCAD Exhibitions Designer opportunity

• Approx. $45-$55 per hour plus Super dependent on experience
• Assignment duration is up to 3 months. Immediate start.
• Melbourne CBD /WFH Arrangement

About the role:

Our client seeks an experienced ArchiCAD Exhibition Designer to join them on a short-term assignment for a duration of up to a period of 3 months based in Melbourne CBD with an immediate start.

As the ArchiCAD Exhibition Designer you will support the Design team in the development of

creative design concepts and solutions for permanent and temporary exhibitions, programs, events and commercial projects.

Accountabilities:

Key accountabilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Undertaking the designing and planning for temporary exhibitions, collection displays, events, programs and commercial projects including; the preparation of concepts, design development, specifications and documentation drawings for build and tendering purposes
• Undertaking and supporting the Exhibition Design team in CAD documentation for exhibitions and displays for construction purposes
• Managing external contractors on all aspects of exhibition design and commercial projects

Key Selection Criteria:

• Experience in the design and documentation of exhibition projects and events (temporary and permanent installations)
• Ability to competently operate software packages such as ArchiCAD and related software including Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
• Proven ability to execute the design process of a project, from conceptual visualisation through to final ArchiCAD documentation drawings
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple and changing priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

• Tertiary Qualifications in Interior Design, Architecture or allied field, coupled with proven experience in a design environment, preferably controlling design projects
