About the role
This full-time Disability Support Services Admin role at National Supported Living Project Pty Ltd in Newcastle, NSW offers the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of essential community services. In this position, you will play a key administrative and organisational function to support the operations of your team of support workers, ensuring participants receive high-quality care.
What you'll be doing
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to the disability support team
- Ensuring staff produce detailed client records and case notes in line with organisational policies
- Coordinating appointments, transport, and other logistical arrangements for clients
- Producing staff rosters.
- Assisting with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation
- Serving as the first point of contact for participants and their families, and workers, responding to inquiries and providing information
- Supporting the organisation of team meetings, training, and other events
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of administrative processes and procedures
- Working collaboratively with the Board of Directors to deliver the best possible service for our participants and give our employees all possible opportunities to thrive.
What we're looking for
- Relevant administrative or customer service experience, preferably in a community services or disability support setting
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and empathetic approach
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite and client/case management software
- Knowledge of disability services and relevant legislation and regulations (desirable)
- A passion for making a positive difference in the lives of people with disabilities and their families
