Animal Collections Officer
Your new company
This Local Council is situated in Melbourne's west and is currently experiencing very busy times within their Animal Management team.
Your new role
There is an immediate opportunity for a suitably experienced Animal Collections Officer to assist the team on a temporary basis (approximately 3 months). You will be conducting animal collections and pick-ups of cats and dogs that are either contained or wandering. You will be transporting the animals to either the Council Shelter, an alternative facility or returning them to their owner.
What you'll need to succeed
You will possess excellent animal handling skills and animal handling experience. You will be able to handle aggressive and roaming dogs and possess the ability to identify animals (cats and dogs). You would have previously worked in a similar role.
