About the role

Windsor Dental Care in NSW is seeking an experienced Dental Receptionist to join their friendly and patient-focused team. This full-time role will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to the dental practice. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting patients with a warm and professional manner and managing the flow of patients through the practice
• Scheduling and coordinating appointments, ensuring optimal utilization of the dentists' time
• Handling patient enquiries, bookings, and correspondence in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintaining accurate patient records and managing patient billing and payments
• Assisting with the coordination of the dental team and supporting their daily activities
• Ensuring the reception area is well-organized and presentable at all times
• Performing other administrative duties as required to support the smooth running of the practice

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar customer service role within the healthcare industry
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in using dental practice management software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide a warm and welcoming service to patients
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
• A professional, discreet and empathetic approach when handling sensitive patient information
• A flexible and proactive attitude, with a willingness to contribute to the team and the overall success of the practice
