A well-known multinational business is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their Group Finance team. The successful candidate will deliver ongoing governance, risk assessment, and strategic process improvement strategies across the business.

The role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of the organization. You will also involve yourself in ongoing process improvement as the business continuous to strive for optimal efficiency.

Working at Group Level, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of financial activities across multiple business entities, including but not limited to:

• Month-end close for Australia and satellite markets
• Preparation of financial statements
• Assistance and liaison with auditors
• Continually strive to improve processes
• Contribute towards new systems implementations
• Assist in the annual budgeting & forecasting process
• Other ad-hoc finance tasks as requested

What we're looking for

• CA / CPA qualification
• Previous experience in Big 4 or mid tier chartered firm desired
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to collaborate and 'get stuck in'
• Strong communication skills and presentation are a must
