About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Accounts Administrator to join our dynamic team at Global Jet International. Based in our Bilinga office, this part-time position offers the potential to transition into full-time hours as the business continues to expand. You will play an integral role in maintaining the company’s financial records and ensuring the efficient processing of accounts payable and receivable.

What you'll be doing

• Process and record accounts payable and receivable transactions
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements
• Assist with end of month and end of year processes
• Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to resolve any billing or payment issues
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and procedures
• Provide administrative support to the finance team as required

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
• Proficiency in accounting software ‘MYOB’, and Microsoft Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Previous experience in the Aviation Industry (advantageous)
