The Organisation
A reputable aged care organisation that provides aged care services within Tasmania. They are a leading aged care provider with values based on compassion, quality of life, and belonging.

This role is based at their medium sized home 30 minutes from Launceston.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Residential Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day clinical management of this medium sized aged care home. As part of your team, you will have a dedicated and supportive manager who will look after the main operations of the home and you will have the support of the clinical care team that you will manage and oversee and provide mentorship to.

Ideally, you will be an experienced care manager with recent experience in residential aged care and a strong advocate for leading and coaching a team. Your primary purpose will be to lead the clinical staff to ensure a high level of continued care and quality improved outcomes for residents within the home.

Skills and Experience

• Current AHPRA registration
• At least three years of working experience across Aged Care
• Recent experience in a Care Manager within residential aged care
• Experience managing clinical staff and providing support to teams
• Working understanding knowledge of quality & aged care accreditation standards
• Ability to support a multi-disciplinary team
• Strong communication skills
