Due to company growth an opportunity exists for a Trade Qualified Fitter & Turner having sound experience with general fitting of stainless and or mild steel. Previous experience in the food industry is highly desirable.

Some of the requirements of the role include:

• Recommend changes to engineering specifications
• Perform all fitting and assembly related activities to the required quality
• Operate trade related plant and equipment safely
• Assemble and or fabricate components using trade skills from the specifications in technical drawings

This role is a casual position on with fulltime hours under our EBA with a casual hourly rate of $56.11 per hour. Weekly overtime available and weekend work during busy periods.

To be successful in this role you will also possess the following skills and abilities:

• Trade qualified Fitter & Turner with a sound knowledge of the fitting discipline
• Ability to read and interpret drawings accurately
• Able to work unassisted, work to deadlines and produce quality workmanship at all times
• A team player with a good attitude who is not afraid of a challenge
• Have a great work ethic with a "can do" attitude
• Be reliable and willing to commit to the role
• Display integrity and honesty
