The Opportunity:
Working alongside two respected partners, you will handle a diverse range of employment law, industrial relations, and litigation matters. This role offers exposure to high-profile and complex workplace law matters, making it an ideal opportunity for someone looking to deepen their expertise in employment law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting and advising on employment contracts, policies and procedures.
- Managing industrial relations issues and advising clients on compliance.
- Providing guidance on terminations, grievances and disciplinary processes.
- Interpreting and applying the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth).
- Handling litigation matters, including unfair dismissal, general protections, and breach of contract claims.
Skills and Experience Required:
- 4-6 years’ PAE in workplace relations, employment and safety law.
- Strong drafting, negotiation and litigation experience.
- The ability to provide strategic, commercially focused legal advice.
- Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to client relationships.
