Cubby Cafe, located in Forrestdale, is seeking a qualified Chef de Partie to join our team on a casual basis. We pride ourselves on our paddock to plate approach, focusing on fresh, local ingredients to create exceptional dining experiences in a high-volume cafe environment.

Key Details:

Position: Chef de Partie (Casual)

Location: Forrestdale (Candidates will need a car - we are not close to public transport)

Operating Days & Hours: Open Wednesday – Sunday

Service Times: 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM daily

Total Hours: 30-40 hours per week (availability across all open days is required)

What We’re Looking For:

Experience: 2-3 years (or more) working in a high-volume cafe or similar environment

Skills: Proven ability in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen

Strong understanding of local, fresh ingredients and modern cooking techniques

A passion for creating quality dishes while maintaining a work-life balance
