Our client, a well-established engineering company in Henderson, WA, is urgently seeking an experienced Boilermaker & Welder Leading Hand to join their team. This full-time, ongoing role is ideal for a skilled tradesperson with workshop experience and leadership skills, ready to take charge in a fast-paced environment. The position is for Day Shift.

The Role:

As a Leading Hand, you will oversee and guide a team of boilermakers and welders, ensuring all work meets industry standards and safety regulations. You will be hands-on in fabrication and welding tasks while also assisting in coordinating workflow, delegating tasks, and mentoring team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of welders and boilermakers
• Oversee fabrication and welding of tanks, structural components, and other projects
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company requirements
• Assist with scheduling, workflow coordination, and quality control
• Train and mentor team members to maintain high standards
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

What You’ll Need:

• Must have workshop experience
• Trade Certificate in Boilermaking or Welding
• Proven experience in fabrication, welding (FCAW/GMAW), and tank building (essential)
• Previous experience as a Leading Hand or in a supervisory role
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Must complete the online induction before starting
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
