This is a permanent, full-time position and can be performed from any of our RoadTek office locations (Cairns, Townsville, Mackay, Rockhampton, Bundaberg, Toowoomba, Warwick, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast or Brisbane CBD).
To be successful in this position, some of your responsibilities will include:
• Undertake complex research, analysis, and evaluation to deliver continuous improvements.
• Develop appropriately detailed project management products and artefacts in accordance with program and departmental strategies and frameworks.
• Manage the integration of all project activities through the project life cycle to deliver agreed outcomes by developing, reviewing, rationalising and integrating activities into a cohesive plan.
• Manage the project from concept through to final acceptance by customer and maintain reporting levels by implementing and evaluating performance measures throughout all phases of the project.
• Develop and manage the project scope in close consultation with key stakeholders, customers and project board.
• Develop, analyse and control project schedules to deliver project objectives and milestones within agreed timeframes by reviewing and reporting on progress of activities and outcomes.
• Plan, schedule and cost all resource requirements for the effective delivery of project outcomes and monitor budgetary performance.
Mandatory qualifications and conditions.
• Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
Desirable requirements
• Tertiary or professional qualifications in project management or similar.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to critically analyse information to gain insights and make courageous decisions under pressure. They will excel at communicating in a clear, succinct, and deliberate manner, tailoring their message to connect with diverse stakeholders. They will be a supportive team player, providing timely and articulate information within their area of expertise in a way that's easy to understand. Additionally, they will be an active listener, proactively seeking to understand others' needs by asking insightful questions and clarifying when necessary.
