Mena Contractors specialises in commercial and residential construction projects, providing our clients with the design, supply and installation of doors, frames and hardware. We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer who is familiar with project management methodologies, tools, and best practices in engineering projects. This is a full-time position and the ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities, along with a demonstrated history of effectively overseeing large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily activities on the construction site to ensure work progresses according to plan.
• Monitoring construction activities to ensure that safety standards, quality, and environmental guidelines are followed.
• Work closely with architects, designers, and other engineers to ensure project specifications, designs, and blueprints meet client needs and regulatory standards.
• Oversee contracts and relationships with stakeholders.
• Lead meetings and ensure clear communication.
• Create and update project records, including progress reports and safety protocols.
• Make sure all safety, quality, and environmental regulations are followed throughout the project.
• Perform site inspections, assess risks, and carry out audits to ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Administer contracts with external service providers, ensuring successful project delivery

Required Skills and Experience:

• A Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience in civil construction.
• Strong familiarity with technical drawings and project management software.
• Experience in estimating, tender preparation, and project management.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
