The North West District covers an area of about 307,082km2, or around 17.8% of Queensland. It extends from the Gulf of Carpentaria in the north to Kynuna in the south, and from Torrens Creek in the east to the Northern Territory border in the west.
The District Director (North West) has three distinct roles:
STATE-WIDE: Assist the Program Delivery and Operations Leadership Team
(PDOLT) by delivering frontline QTRIP activities (engineering, inspection, preconstruction, and so on) within established frameworks.
REGIONAL: Reporting and advice to the Regional Director on operational delivery and collaboration with peers on regional functions.
DISTRICT: Leads the program, project, technical and business governance activities to ensure frontline delivery of the district delivery program to customer expectations.
District Directors may provide some services across the region.
As a member of the Regional Leadership Team (RLT), this role also liaises with project sponsors to determine program criteria and priorities, contributing to departmental and regional policies, processes and performance standards.
The role reports to the Regional Director (North Queensland).

• Salary $184,842 to $193,402 with employer superannuation contributions of 12.75%.
