Kambu Health is a proud community-controlled, not-for-profit organisation established in 1973. Kambu Health employs over 100 staff and offers comprehensive primary, allied and specialist health services, early childhood education and family support programs, across multiple clinics and community centres. About the role

• $65,000 to $75,000 per annum (plus 11.5% superannuation and leave loading)
• Full-Time Fixed-Term

As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for aiding in providing high-quality dental care to our community. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of infection control, is detail-oriented, and is passionate about promoting oral health within the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Preparing treatment rooms and patients for dental procedures.
• Processing instruments for sterilising ensuring high level of infection control and sterilisation knowledge.
• Responsibility of maintaining an organised and stocked surgery.
• Provide quality support with best practice chair side assisting.

About the successful applicant

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Minimum Certificate III in Dental Assisting
• Attention to detail
• Extensive knowledge of infection control
• Experience in preparations of treatment rooms and instruments for Dentists to use
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience
