About the role
- $65,000 to $75,000 per annum (plus 11.5% superannuation and leave loading)
- Full-Time Fixed-Term
As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for aiding in providing high-quality dental care to our community. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of infection control, is detail-oriented, and is passionate about promoting oral health within the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Preparing treatment rooms and patients for dental procedures.
- Processing instruments for sterilising ensuring high level of infection control and sterilisation knowledge.
- Responsibility of maintaining an organised and stocked surgery.
- Provide quality support with best practice chair side assisting.
About the successful applicant
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum Certificate III in Dental Assisting
- Attention to detail
- Extensive knowledge of infection control
- Experience in preparations of treatment rooms and instruments for Dentists to use
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience
